RÍnn Cottage is a perfect spot for a family or group of friends who are looking to enjoy this rustic area where Irish is still widely spoken, and where the rich green of the landscape meets the beauty of the sea.
Unfortunately we don’t allow pets, not even well behaved ones.

Accommodation
This holiday home offers 3 double bedrooms and an additional bedroom/sitting room upstairs. Fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer and washing machine. Double doors open onto the patio and garden.
The large bathroom has a shower and bath. Solar panels service the house, which also offers central heating/hot water via a range heating system. In Winter months you’ll need to keep a good fire going, but we think it’s worth the effort.
There is a wood burning stove in the downstairs sitting room, which also contains a TV, DVD and selection of movies, small library and board games. We include bed linen and towels. Wifi is available throughout the house.
Extras: A basket of wood is included in your welcome pack. You can purchase additional fuel from the local shop. You’ll find a BBQ and garden furniture stored in the shed for your use.

Location
An Cheathrú Rúa (Carraroe) is a seaside village located on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean. Serviced by all amenities and easily accessible to Galway City, Spiddal, Roundstone & Clifden. The house is close to many deserted beaches, including Trá an Dóilín (Coral Beach), one of Ireland’s few coral beaches, the strand at Carraroe is one of the most picturesque beaches in the country, as per the Irish Times 2012.

Knock & Shannon Airports are 2 hours drive (120km), car hire is available from both.
Situated on the south peninsula, Rínn Cottage offers panoramic sea views and total relaxation. To the north, the backdrop of the Maamturks offer a spectacular view. The Aran Islands and the Cliffs of Moher (Co. Clare) can be seen on a clear day.

There is also a coffee shop, chinese restaurant and fish & chip shop in the village. The 3 pubs offer great craic, trad music is usually on in An Chistin. Other facilities include, a library, playground & pharmacy.
